Here you can hear lady cashiers say "Don't use the slit, You can stick him in at the front side with me"
(but then of course in Dutch, but no less embarrassing when you're laughing your ass off and have to explain afterwards)

They of course mean the slit above and the opening in front of this apparatus, not of themselves
