    QCN News

    US Gov't Shutdown - No USGS Data
    Note that due to the recent US government shutdown - the USGS will not be providing data for the QCNLive & QCN/BOINC earthquake map, and matching of USGS detected events to QCN events. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.

    so i have read that they have reopened the governments saying the longer its shut down the worse for the economy ..... really? hows not pissing off billions of dollars for a few days going to be bad for the economy. since when can governments open and close like burger king?

    Part of the 'pissing off billions' is paying wages for government officials, who also want to pay their rent/mortgage, buy food, etc.
    People not being able to spend money is BAD for the economy.
