    Wish for FM2+ mobo's to go with the A10 Richlands (or stick your Trinities in them), as Kaveri will be out January/February and seems to offer a 20-30% performance increase!

    I have no FM2+ board yet (still on AM3+) so I will be wishing for Kaveris with next years budget and good reliable high end motherboards for them.

    The user feedback on Newegg was not always positive for the Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-UP4 (seems to be BIOS related), better for the ASUS A88X-PRO and also positive for the Asrock FM2A88X Extreme6+, the three top boards at the moment.
    In my opinion there's still chance for a brand new chipset for Steamroller on FM2+, as AMd has denied rumors that the FX is to be end-of-life. Might not even be surprized when a new AM3+ chip comes out of the high hat.

    I have a problem with the feedback on NewEgg. I do read them but some of them that mark themselves as experts don't know a CPU from a Gpu. I do take a general consensus of the opinions and you can tell some of the respondents really do know their stuff so I add weight to their opinion. Also many on the brighter ones are just reporting on parts for gaming purposes and let's face it we are much harder on parts than the worst gamer.

    Bump of old thread but I put some CPU cycles on TN-Grid this week and pushed us up to 10th for Formula BOINC 2019 so we gained an extra point. We might get to 9th if we're lucky.

    Shouldn't we focus on projects where we can gain more points? I've done my efforts for 18 points at WEP-M+2.

    Formula Boinc points:

    1st = 25
    2nd = 18
    3rd = 15
    4th = 12
    5th = 10
    6th = 8
    7th = 6
    8th = 4
    9th = 2
    10th = 1

    Not so many days left to jump a position though...but it looks like we jumped over the Meisterkuehler.de team:
