I don't know about the fan... But there is room for 2 gigs... Right now it only has 512. I will upgrade to 1 gig soon.
I'm running Ubero right now. I know what my P4 can do. I just want to see what the AMD can crunch. I have to admit though... The P4 stomps AMD in Ubero.... But the Ubero platform is for Intel systems....

i guess its out the question to run BOINC but amd would win that.
most games as well are better on a AMD though the graphics will limit that.
