Drat! Contracted a Maxwell by accident...
It's contagious! Now I've have 18 MiRBs as well...
The Maxwell is for my Clanks (number of active projects in the past month), where I have a top-100 ranking (but in the team I am outshone by lazykiller, LeonardoXIV and Vaughan, who all clank even harder than I do)
MiRBs are a sort of mini-Maxwells: you get them for top-1000 mega milestones. It's such a new feature that team and project ranks have still to be calculated.

Ooh. Nice. I'm close to Vaughan, but B Johansson is right behind me.

It occurs to me that this will need some occasional up-keep to stay in the top 1000s.
A very clever milestone.
Good for the projects.

sure. I was generalizing. I may be among the exceptions to the rule for the time being.
I just fixed 2 of the high-end MMs over the last 6 months.
But I see 2 more lower down that need some attention.
Yeah. I spent the lasts 3 years bringing my numbers up across all projects, and it shows.
I led the Boks for quite a few months, which similarly is an 'all-projects-spread' mega milestone. Holding equal 2nd at the moment, but JayPi is a tough competitor too.
I'm not comfortable at the moment.
I have been consistently just outside the top 500 overall for about 12 months now.
I was within 20 ranks of it about 3 months ago but have slipped backwards as others have accelerated.
It's taking a lot of effort just to tread water.
Any little slip now equates to a big and fast back-slide these days.
So now I am quite circumspect about some of my stats that you see there.
Aside from the Boks, and now the MiRBS, the one I am most satisfied with is the 10Ks.
That's the end result of 10+ years of DC crunching on trailing-price-point CPUs.
It was VERY hard work getting to 10K back then.
But keep an eye on your stats.
They change much quicker than you think ;)

I know that my 1K score is far from safe, but generally my Mega Milestones are in the 200-400 ranking range.
My sweet spot is the 250K, where I have a 156th place.
When you want to improve your scores -or at least keep them at a certain level- you can not lay back, you have to improve.
To help things nVidia, of all, have come up with a new version of their Kepler chip, the GK 208. Normally to be found in laptops, but now also spotted in new versions of the GT 630 and GT 640.
Why do I mention such lower-end cards? It is all about the Wattage. The new GT 630 needs a mere 25 Watt, the new GT 640 will do with 49 Watt. Considering that my old (Fermi) GT 630 is already doing a great job as stand in for my dead GTX 260 -but at 65 Watt- and that they are both brought as as low profile cards, this opens opportunities for iTX and slim-case μATX systems.
The amazing part for these cards is a value found on wikipedia: the GK 208 equipped GT 630 gets a GFLOP/Watt score of 27.68, the highest ever (even better than the HD 7790, which is by far the better of the two, but which performs at more than thrice the Wattage needed)

My first world-wide top-10!
It's for my Clanks (48 active projects over the last month).
BTW: If you did not know already it, the robot above is called Clank...

My new MegaMilestones banner, over two colums (the girl got too long):
You can get yours at stats.free-dc.org/mosttag.php?cpid=[your Cross Project Identifier id here]&theme=26&cols=2
You can of course choose the theme and number of columns yourself...
