    AMD announce $116 million loss

That's a huge loss, which could be attributed to the ATI takeover...

If everyone in AMD Users buys a quad core or 2, that should help!

    Lol.

I can just afford a Skt 754 Semperon at the minute :p
Well at least I'm getting a case, cooler and mobo tomrrow for my parts. I'll also see if I can afford to get myself a 320Gb HD and enclosure. Not really helping AMD much mind.

Yes you are right SpikeyRichie. It is always an normal process when a firm acquire another their income last year decrease. A overtake costs enormous with dollars. Admininstrative costs, loan, reduce of stocks and other costs.
All loss of money can´t be blamed because of a little downfall in processor and graphic card sales.
Once an AMDuser always an AMD user

I'll still stick with my AMD/ATi combo

Things will pick up once they get some new technology out and show up Intel.

Same here. I'm AMD/ATI. I'll probably get a DX10 card when the prices become cheap.

Do ATI gfx cards already support DX10? (If so, which ones?) I'm thinking of getting one.

If it does Folding AND supports DX10 then it's heaven for me! Games & DC!
