    Hello Dee,

After reading about some of your problems with your 'other' computer... If this one is working for you, then it was a good choice.

Although, I have to ask for a translation for this line??

It should work just fine for you. I purchased an HP Pavilion with the q6600 some time ago. Works just fine, although I dumped the vista and installed linux. It's getting to the point that it is hard to beat the price of the off the shelf units. By the time you buy all the parts, you have the same amount of money tied up in them. The main difference being that many of the off the shelf brands such as HP, Gateway, Dell, etc., use proprietary motherboards, power supplies and cases so when something does go wrong you are pretty much locked into having to get your replacement parts from the company that built your computer rather than being able to buy "off the shelf" generic computer parts to fix it.

Operation wise, my HP q6600 intel quad works just fine. So you shouldn't be worried about whether or not you got something that isn't "quick"
