I created a dynamic graphic on the boinc.dk site 3 days ago. They have not posted it yet.
Also, their stats are out of date, they have me in pos 12 for predictor but I am in 8!

Beerknurd, of course we care !
Personally I think that branding is a very powerful thing although difficult to achieve unless there are some kind of standards or agreements.
I am going for #3.
#1 and #4 have readability issues.
#2 and #3 are strong on readability and clarity of the logo
the reason I am selecting #3 is that it is graphically stronger and differenciates itself from the "common" text on white.
May I say "nicely done" to the creator of all 4 of the options.
I had a go at a couple myself and it turned out crappy.
Good job :)

COMMON, COMMON, you calling my work COMMON? lol lol
Actually, the background of #2 is a gradation of green to white. It just doesn't show very well.

Stu, Stu, Stu.
Perhaps "regular" or "popular" would have been a better choice, but I think you know what I meant. Take a stroll through the Predictor and S@H forums and I think you will agree pretty quickly. I like the way your text is positioned around the images.
The logo I *failed* to create for Predictor stats was based on a folded protein image merged with our logo text. I wanted to get away from the planets & starts of S@H. I think my idea was good but my execution resulted in a cross face (mine) at 2:00am, and I had difficulty getting the text fields to position nicely, so I passed on it when I saw those in the survey today which CLEARLY outclass my artistic abilities.
I think that the logos above are fantastic, but I'd still like to see what it would look like if any of you artists were to form one more "Predictor" focussed?

^^^^^^^^ Agreed, very hard to read.

^^^^^^^^ Not hard to read.
See what I do to work with you people??? I just don't understand what's wrong with you guys. If I don't start getting some artistic respect, I'm going to take my Intel to another team. I'm serious. I'm not playing.
How was that? I may not be an artistic genius. But I can act. Did anyone think I was serious..... Come on be honest. Damn i'm good!!!! LOL. At least I got 2 votes this time. Well 1 not counting mine!!!

Dave, yes I knew what you meant ;) It was never a problem.
Why don't you post your idea here anyway. Lets see if any budding picassos can produce the image you had in mind.
If you're too ashamed  then email it to me.
