PrimeGrid recently found a record Woodall prime (n*2^n-1). See here for more information on the record: http://www.primegrid.com/ While it continues to search for larger Woodall's, PG is now starting the Cullen Prime Search (n*2^n+1). Cullen's are more rare than Woodall's.
We are looking to catch the Cullen's up to the Woodall's. To do so, if you are already a PG user, please consider switching your project preferences to only Cullen's for the next two weekends.
To access your project preferences, please visit: http://www.primegrid.com/prefs.php?subset=project and set only the Cullen Prime Search to yes.
Once again, it's only for the next two weekends. Of course, if you feel inclined, it's perfectly OK to crunch the Cullen Prime Search full time until they are caught up with the Woodall's. :)
Thank you for your consideration and good luck finding the record Cullen prime.
