Yup, I just ordered another one also, just to make sure they still out-produce the virtual quad core Barcelona cores that I don't have in my farm yet.

Just ordered a qad core with a Giga-Byte m/b and 2 gigs of Corsair memory. First Intel I've had in a long, long time.

I just about did the same... howsomever I am a hard core jeep nut, and figured that I could use 4.56 gearing in my short jeep along with a couple of True-tracs. So there went the quadcore.

But it is getting hard to resist the "evil empire" LOL as those competitors hot running nasty old quad cores sure run their points up in a hurry. Makes it hard to remain true and blue to amd.

Hey, I've got a nice dual socket F motherboard just itching for 2 quads so I can run 8 cores, if it were only out there to purchase. Hey, I'd even buy another one of these boards so that I could keep running these opty 2216's....

    if only.............

Which Gigabyte board did you get?

I bought the DQ6 back in May, tough little thing - very very good at O/Cing!

I use the Gigabyte DQ6 for all my Quads, it's a fairly good board as long as you don't try to go to far with it, then some Quirkiness starts to pop up with it.

When I get the latest Quad I ordered (Should be here tommorrow) I'm gong to try it on an ASUS P5W DH Deluxe Board I have and see how it run's on that. I have another DQ6 Board laying here just in case the ASUS has problems but I want to try it first anyway.
